Tons of new stuff; if you couldn’t tell by the title! I updated quite a few new costumes to my gallery, finally got a new Vlog up, getting ready for quite a few other review vlogs and such. You can watch my most current one above!

One major add to the website was a store! That’s right, I want to make you fun Survival Horror/Silent Hill props and replica pieces so I’m starting my own store online. The goal is to raise enough money to start an even bigger venture into latex mask and prosthetic for cosplay. So go check it out! Right now I have a Heather Pendent in the shop and a preview for a Rule of Rose Imp Plushie! There’s gonna be some really cool stuff in there, so be sure to check back every month or so, and tell your family what you want me to make you for Christmas!

Major Site Updates & I Moved to Florida

At the beginning of September I went down to Atlanta for Dragon*Con with Team Arda and I kept going until I hit Miami after the con. That’s right people, I moved to Florida. My boyfriend and I were really hating the distance and I’d been dreaming up possibly starting my own business for a while (working for Arda gave the Entrepreneur Bug!) so I decided to take the risks involved and jump into the ocean head first. Figuratively, spiritually and well.. literally.

In the coming months I’m gonna start up a store and an Etsy with hopes of making a ton of fun costuming things. Most of the stuff will be themed around Survival Horror, like Props and Accessories, but I have hopes that in the next year I’ll have some premade popular costumes, themed clothing and HOPEFULLY -my main goal- custom made latex appliances and masks.

Because I’m getting into all this, you can expect that I will be updating my website more often. Just like I did for Arda, I’m gonna be marketing my products and my skills in hopes that I will be able to make wonderful things for everyone in the community I love so much!

To start off, I’ve been adding some old galleries of some old costumes with re-edited photos and new descriptions. Still trying hard to include as much as I can to help you with your costumes!

Back from Colossal! On the way to AX!

Had a wonderful time running around the water park and our Villa at ColossalCon! Got some amazing shots of our Tenchi group and my wonderful friend Hailey surprised me by making an Anne Cunningham costume from Silent Hill Downpour! Go times were had by all. Although I did have another costume, I didn’t get a chance to put it on. I was to busy soaking up the sun in the adult hot tube with my friend Jeff and a chalice full of Adult Milkshake. Yummy!

I’ve been waiting to put up new costumes because I am waiting on one or two shoots. Thus, sorry, I’m a bit behind as usual. Another thing that’s gonna be setting me back a bit is that I’ll be moving in September to Miami Florida! My wonderful boyfriend got a job there at a great newspaper and I’m gonna go down there to live with him for a while. Thinking about taking some more classes while I’m there and maybe I’ll have more time to finish some dream costumes up while I’m at it!

Now I’m getting ready for Anime Expo. Arda Wigs’ booth is themed Zelda Shop Keeps this year and they are gonna have two booths. I decided to go with a not-so-shop-keepy character, but one that can transfer between booths. Thus I’m gonna be sporting a Postman costume. (My goal with this costume was to use only materials I currently had to make it. So far its looking pretty awesome!)

Can’t wait to show you all the costumes I’ve got pictures of, am waiting on pictures of and ones I haven’t even gotten a chance to get photos of here in the near future! <3

Gearin’ up for Colossal! Went to Mansfield & Toonami YAY!

For ColossalCon this year Arda won’t be running a booth. Instead we’re rented out a villa that we are lovingly calling “Castle Arda” and we will be vacationing all together. It should be a blast. Costumes, Swimming, Drinking. All my favorite things to do, and also with my Arda family.

For Colossal I’m making two new costumes. One is kinda a surprise/just fun costume. Nothing over the top, but it I want it to be a surprise. The other is Ryoko from Tenchi Muyo. Remie is joining me as Washu and Veence has decided to be our Tenchi. LividDoll will be joining us as Ayeka as well! So excited.

I got my wig for Ryoko done today, so I took a picture in honor of the Toonami occasion

I also wanted to let you guys/gals know that I recently did a great photo shoot at Mansfield Reformatory in Mansfield, Ohio! I’m currently still waiting for photos back, however, I’ll be posting some soon. I took some new photos of Claudia Wolf that turned out sooooooooooo awesome and I also made a special surprise costume for a friend that was cosplaying Murphy Pendleton from Silent Hill Downpour! Can’t wait to share them with you.

As far as the site goes, its getting there slowly but surely. Little by little I’m adding more galleries and more updated photos! So just keep a close eye out. So many new photos to add to old costume galleries! Its hard to keep up between extra hours at work and making new costumes!

Almost Up and Running

Its a slow but steady hike to finishing this website, but its coming along nicely. I added a few new features to my costume pages from my old site. A complete rewrite of most costume descriptions, a Rar file of all the resource material I use to make the costumes (if I still have the files), a light box to look at the photos and a bit more a description as to why I choose to do costumes and an analysis of what I did and did not like about my process. All these things are mostly provided so that if you yourself would like to make one of these costumes it it useful for your research into making it.

Still a bit of work that needs to be done overall. I have to port over my tutorials and I still have a number of tutorials I haven’t yet been able to write and put up. I’m also going to make a “Channel” for my YouTube/Live Stream because I plan on using them a lot once I get the site up and running.

So yea! Tons of new things to add and make pretty. Thanks for sticking with it and coming to visit

Silent Hill & A Site Transfer

DOWNPOUR IS COMING OUT! OMG GUYZ!! In anticipation for this event, I’ve been doing a costume Countdown on my Tumblr and I also made sure to get this video done before the big release. A ton of my Silent Hill buddies and I get together all the time so we decided to start making movies. Here’s our first creation. It took a while for me to edit and put together, but we’re pretty proud of it. Enjoy. Its totally serious.

ALSO! I’m slowly transporting the website over from my old site. Its a new layout and I have a new logo and everything. I’m pretty pumped about it. I’m actually going through all my old photos (and some new ones) and using my new Lightroom software to update some photos and put my new logo on them. The costume pages are getting a much needed facelift, edited descriptions by my wonderful boyfriend and reference pictures (including a reference picture rar file for anyone interested in doing a costume I have previously done)

The new site should be pretty fantastic. I’m really excited about all the changes and I’m also excited about all the new costumes I can put up on the site!

Mr. J is Missing Out

At Anime Central this year I got to make a new and improved Harley Quinn costume that was miles better then the first time I ever made Harley (which was my first attempt at cosplay). AND I got to dress all pretty with my friend Penny!

Penny doesn’t get to see me very often, but she’s traveling to see me tomorrow, so in honor of getting to see one of my best friends, I thought I would finally sit down and post up this costume. Thanks to Elemental and LJinto for taking photos for me during later con hours. And thanks to Tee for putting up with her corset while waiting for me to finish judging.

…Burning bright, there’s a guiding star no matter what or who you are…

Okay, sorry for the Rocky reference, but the new theme of the website and the new costumes/photos had me singing this song. Mostly because its all black with burst of light. I posted my Shadow Heartless to the gallery. He comes complete with glowing yellow eyes. I posted new photos of Pris; which all have a ton of black with some awesome flash lighting effects by the lovely Elemental. And then I went back to the black backgrounds with the glowing rainbow colors for the theme. I think I’ll be keeping it for a while. Its kinda my favorite and it goes with the new banner (More from that costume to come in the coming weeks).

I also have gone through and given all the gallery pages a major facelift. No longer do they look like old Geocities pages with awkward text and weirdly spaced galleries. They now have a slide show, a new pretty banner -themed for each costume- and some of the descriptions have even been updated. (I can’t get to my sewing machine currently, so you can understand why I’ve been so productive eh?)

Will be uploading some reference photos in .Rar form soon for as many costumes as I still have reference photos I used sitting around for AND I’m gonna try to put together a tutorial on how I made my Heartless.

Silent Hill Downpour @ San Diego Comic Con

I got a chance to play Silent Hill: Downpour at SDCC this year. In light of the new trailer being released at Tokyo Game Show, I wanted to put up the video of my play through. In the next few days I’ll put up some subtitled commentary, for now, enjoy.
